By using Doppelgang, you agree to these Terms of Service. Doppelgang allows you to upload a photo to find similar-looking individuals using advanced facial recognition technology.
You retain ownership of the images you upload. By uploading, you grant Doppelgang a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to store, process, and compare your image for ongoing matching with new and existing users.
Uploaded images are **not automatically deleted** as they are used to enhance the matching experience by allowing future users to find lookalikes from the existing database.
If you wish to have your image removed from our database, you may request deletion at support@doppelgang.com.
Your identity remains protected through anonymous IDs. Uploaded images are not publicly linked to your personal identity. See our Privacy Policy for further details.
Doppelgang offers premium features via in-app purchases. All payments are final and non-refundable unless stated otherwise. Refunds can only be processed through Apple, subject to their policies. Pricing and availability are subject to change.

Doppelgang processes uploaded images to generate a unique representation of facial features, which is then used to find similar-looking individuals. This data is securely stored and used continuously for the matching process.
Your images are not sold, publicly shared, or used for any purpose other than providing Doppelgang’s matching service.
Doppelgang uses AI-based visual analysis for entertainment purposes. **Matches are approximate and do not establish actual relationships or identities**.
If a public figure or individual wishes to opt out from being included in the matching database, they may submit a request at support@doppelgang.com.
Doppelgang is **not responsible for misidentifications** or any unintended matches that may arise from the AI's algorithm.
Doppelgang is provided **"as is"** and without warranties of any kind. We are **not liable** for damages, misidentifications, or third-party misuse of app-generated results.
Users assume full responsibility for their use of the app and its results.
We may update these terms periodically. Continued use of Doppelgang after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

We collect images you upload for facial comparison and anonymous usage data to improve our service. No personally identifiable information is linked to your images.
Your images are processed to find similar faces in our database using facial recognition technology. Anonymous IDs ensure your identity remains secure.
Doppelgang analyzes facial characteristics from uploaded images to generate a unique facial representation. This data is securely stored and used solely for the purpose of identifying visually similar images.
Your images and face data are never shared with third parties except as required by law. Aggregated, anonymized data may be used for internal analysis.
We implement industry-standard encryption and security measures to protect your data. However, no system is completely secure.
Payment information is processed by Apple and not stored by Doppelgang beyond transaction requirements.
Uploaded images and associated facial representations are retained only as long as necessary to provide the service. If a user remains inactive for an extended period, their data will be deleted as part of periodic account maintenance. Analytics data is retained in anonymized form.
You can delete your account and associated images. Contact us at support@doppelgang.com for assistance.
